Being married to a photographer it might seem odd how little I post pictures of myself (I really do not like them!), but then there are moments like this.  Moments where he has his camera out, and I have no idea I’m the subject.  Seeing this picture brings up so many feelings.  It might look like I’m sitting there on my phone brainlessly scrolling but that is far from the case.  I was sitting there making a list of all I want to do with this new warehouse of ours.  Jotting down the potential I see with this second location and notes on how to make it all happen.  And then there was a second list of what needs to be done – the demo, the cleaning, the organizing, the layout, and of course notes on how quickly we can fill her up.  The excitement I had while sitting and noting for over an hour and the excitement I have reliving this moment makes me really love this photo.  Emmy will be the baby sister to our Southern California warehouse, Elly, and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us.  I’m grateful for a husband that was able to capture the start of this next chapter and a photo I will forever cherish. I am also grateful for my amazing team helping me pull it all together and make it all happen. I am looking forward to sharing more photos along the way…so stay tuned.
