Found Rental Co’s Repair shop specialist is a true joy to be a part of if you like camaraderie and love problem solving and fixing challenging projects. No two repairs alike and it takes years and years to become fluent in all the issues we see in the shop. Our owner, Joel, was the only repair person back in the early days and the shop has now grown into two master repair specialists, two apprentices and a master woodworker and wood shop apprentice in our fabrication shop across the street. And we still need more help in keeping all 30,000 + items in inventory looking perfect for their next big party or photoshoot!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain our entire inventory keeping all items in perfect shape
• Work with a small team getting through urgent repairs quickly and efficiently while keeping other repairs at by as well
• Refinishing refinishing refinishing
• Reconstruction of highly damaged pieces
• Working with a team in a respectful, positive manner 

Skills:

• Woodworking
• Furniture repair
• Matching very old wood finishes
• Taking out scratches in wood
• Painting techniques
• Refinishing
• Matching wood grain with painting techniques
• Fluent in working with power tools, hand tools
• Understand forces acting on joints, ie: chair legs
• Have a true passion and ability to solve tricky problems in a short amount of time
• Competent in workshop safety
• Work quick and safe while producing excellent results

Structure:

• Full time preferred 
• Slightly flexible schedule
• Hourly, paid weekly
